Mitali Pattnaik, a former head of product management and senior director at LinkedIn, joined Seattle startup Syndio as its new chief product officer.
Pattnaik spent more than six years at LinkedIn in several product management roles. She led the company’s LinkedIn Sales Solutions team. She previously founded a sales startup called IntroHQ and held roles at Twitter, Google, Electronic Arts, Yahoo, and Microsoft.
Founded in 2017, Syndio analyzes workplace pay equity issues and provides strategies for fixing disparities. Customers include Siemens, Sweetgreen, American Airlines, Nordstrom, and others. The company has raised more than $83 million.

A former technical advisor to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Teevan leads Microsoft’s Future of Work initiative, which brings together researchers from Microsoft, LinkedIn, and GitHub to study how the pandemic has changed work.
“Her wealth of knowledge and experience in AI, deep roots in rigorous research and expertise in advancements in ethical AI will be invaluable as Shutterstock continues to play a critical role in this space, for example with our industry leading training data,” Shutterstock board chairman Jon Oringer said in a statement.
